  • Seamless Accessories llc. (Present)
    • Soft goods start-up company focused on revolutionizing the manufacturing of everyday carry baggage, through the use of innovative automated processes and sustainable production techniques. Here I work as co-founder and creative director alongside investors with extensive experience within the textile industry. We are currently working on the production of a zero-waste 3D knit backpack alongside domestic manufacturing facilities in North Carolina, while sourcing all materials and hardware from US made domestic distributers.
  • Stoll America Technical Textile Training (2016)
    • Technical textile programming course on Stoll's M1 Plus CAD software with top tier technicians. Here I learned 3D knitting techniques such as shaping, widening, narrowing, goreing, finishing, jacquard techniques, modules, color arrangements, and whole-garment knitting techniques. Apart from programming, I learned the capabilities of 3D knitting technology and how to effectively communicate design intent within the textile industry.
  • Study Abroad China - Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai (2016)
    • This was an industrial design short-course where I had the opportunity to study abroad in China. Here I was able to visit and learn from numerous manufacturing facilities for a wide array of products ranging from soft goods, electronics, and furniture. This was extremely valuable in learning the realities, culture, and business of manufacturing in China and exactly what the process looks like from concept to completion.
  • Aestas Estas Design Internship (2015)
    • This was an internship with the Dean of the industrial design department where we worked with local Philadelphia start-up companies on a variety of projects such as packaging design, soft goods manufacturing, and corporate furniture. Because of the variety of projects, I was able to play many roles at this time from project manager to design director.
  • ESM Productions (2014)
    • This was an internship with one of the largest production companies on the east coast. Here I worked on large projects like the Budweiser Made in America music festival, Wawa Fourth of July music festival, and numerous ad campaigns for local companies and museums. During this time I worked mainly on graphics for signage and stage banners as well as video editing, layout design, stage design, and on-site coordination during events.
  • Jimmy's Famous BBQ (2012)
    • I worked as a restaurant manager throughout my educational career as my main form of income. During this time I was in charge of seven staff members and the day-to-day functions of an award winning restaurant. Here I was in charge of both front and back of house with responsibilities ranging from employee scheduling, catering scheduling, employee payroll, inventory management, etc.
